Finding my dream dress at Kleinfeld's...❤️

The weekend after I got engaged my sisters and I had a trip already planned for NYC. We love going during the holidays to shop, see all the lights & just feel the magic in the city. Before we left my mom told me she had made some appointments to try on wedding dresses while there. I felt crazy because I had only been engaged for 5 days!!! It was so worth it though and I found the most amazing dress in the world...✨✨

We had a few different appointments for the day. We started out at BHLDN (Anthropologie bridal). I had the sweetest lady helping me the whole time. These dresses were beautiful and I found some I liked but I knew I didn't find the one here. I was very thankful we started here though, because it was a lot more laid back and I had never tried on a wedding dress before so that was very special.

When we pulled up to Kleinfeld's it just felt like a dream. Walking in and seeing everything just like I had seen on the show was amazing. All the workers wearing all black and finding their bride to take back. I was just sitting in awe. Dianne came and found us, and we walked into the most beautiful room with dresses on all the walls, big mirrors in the middle with couches for the families to sit. People were walking around offering champagne.⭐️ It really was a dream. Dianne and I talked about my wedding and what I was envisioning. We walked around and looked at all the amazing dresses. We started pulling some and brought them to my fitting room. I tried on probably about 10 different ones, I didn't show my family if it was one I hated. There was a few I absolutely loved. I kept going back and back to one. There was a few things I wanted to change...and somehow I got really lucky and the designer of the dress was at Kleinfeld's this day. He was so nice and told me he would design it however I wanted. They took notes of all the changes I wanted to make. Dianne told me I was getting a custom designer dress. I was just so in shock of the whole day. I was so happy/excited/nervous. I ended up saying "YES TO THE DRESS" and it was unreal. ❤️ I had just bought my wedding dress, but had not even seen the finished look. Tony Ward is the designer and I cannot wait to see the amazing things he does with my dress. I was feeling ALLL the emotions at this point. It was such a fun and special day and the best way to find my dream wedding dress.

We had another appointment, but ended up cancelling after we bought the dress. We ended the day celebrating at one of my favorite restaurants and a carriage ride around Central Park. This was one day I will never forget.❤️
