Estes Park, Colorado

Last weekend was fall break for my friends and I - so we decided for a fun trip out west!! Colorado is such a beautiful place this time of year. It was the perfect weather for hiking and exploring!🏔We stayed in a great little cabin in the perfect spot, right outside of town. The airbnb is called Ptarmigan Mountain 202 if you want to take a look! We had a great view of the mountains and a nice fireplace to keep us warm. We spent lots of time just relaxing, drinking hot chocolate and catching up with our friends.☺️🙌🏻While in Colorado, we did some beautiful hikes. One of my favorite hikes we did was the Emerald Lake Hike in the Rocky Mountains. It was about a four mile hike, with 3 beautiful lakes. We look LOTS of pictures! It was nice and I think he perfect length! Here are some pictures from the top - the view was breathtaking!!!😍If we weren't hiking, we were walking around downtown, shopping and eating some really yummy food! Downtown Estes Park is the cutest little mountain town! They have some of the cutest ice cream shops and Christmas stores!! I know it's still October... but I was dying!! We also had a really fun day trip to Boulder! We shopped, ate at a great Steak House and enjoyed seeing some beautiful fall leaves.🍂🍁Our last day there was a big snow storm that came through! It was so fun to wake up to a little winter wonderland! I felt like we were in a snow globe, everything was so perfect! We drove to the top of the Mountains to see such a beautiful view. Of course had to take some pics! It was an amazing trip -- with lots of memories to come home with!!❤️
