Paris in October 🍂
Hello everyone!
I am so excited to share details from our recent trip to Paris, France. We had the absolute best time walking the streets of Paris, seeing the Eiffel Tower and sipping hot chocolate in the cutest café. We stayed at a little airbnb that was actually hotel, which was super nice for safety and any questions we had. Here is the link for where we stayed. For the price I think it was a great spot (an amazing bakery right by it), however it was about a 20 minute metro ride to most of the places we went in Paris.
We stayed in Paris for 4 nights and London for 4 nights, which I will have a blog post coming for that part of the trip as well. I felt like 4 days was a great amount of time to explore and see the city, but of course we still had things we didn’t have time for. We did one day trip to Normandy, which was a full day adventure (and very worth it). A few of our favorite things we did in Paris were visit Arc De Triumph (I recommend going to the top to get an amazing view of the city and the Eiffel Tower), Versailles was beyond beautiful and a must to go visit. We did a guided tour inside and explored the gardens on our own. It will take a full morning or afternoon to explore the grounds. The Louvre is a must-see when in Paris of course! The galleries are beautiful and the grounds are just as beautiful. We loved strolling around the park and enjoying the perfect weather. If you are looking for beautiful gardens then, Luxembourg Garden is a the perfect spot. Visiting the Eiffel Tower at night is so fun to see it sparkle ✨ Also, having a picnic in the park at the Eiffel Tower is so fun and romantic. Visiting Notre-Dame is a Paris must and you can go inside to see all the beauty. One of our favorite things was walking around and just stopping in cute café and bakery’s to enjoy all the yummy breads.
There are SO many amazing restaurants as you can imagine, I am just going to share a few of my favorites from the times I’ve been to Paris. First, Café de Flore is my favorite café in the city. It is in such a fun location and is just hard to beat! Another great cafe is Carette, so close to the Eiffel Tower and has the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had! ☕️ Coco was an amazing dinner spot with the most fun atmosphere. We absolutely loved it! Pink Mama is another great dinner or lunch spot and very picturesque. Gigi Paris has great views and is such a fun dinner spot. I would also recommend doing a dinner river cruise on the Seine. ❤️
We had the absolute best time and so glad we got to explore this city together. ❤️ I hope you all enjoyed and let me know if you have any questions!
Much love,
SKP
