Hi y’all!

Happy Memorial Day weekend! We are currently waiting for our flight in Bozeman and headed to Florida for a weekend in the sun! We had the absolute best week in Big Sky with my family. I can’t wait to share all the fun things we did!

We arrived to Big Sky on Sunday afternoon to a blizzard! We were just a little shocked! When we had looked at the weather for the week it was supposed to be in the 60’s! Luckily the snow was melted by the next day!

Monday:

We woke up bright and early with breakfast made by Samuel - he is the sweetest! Then we headed off for horse back riding through the valley. It was so beautiful and we had the perfect weather!

After our fun horse back ride we headed home for lunch at our cabin and then out again for a little hike. We hiked Ousel Falls, which was the perfect trail with the babies!

We ate dinner at River House Grill and it was so good! Would highly recommend!

Tuesday:

We spent the whole day in Yellowstone and it was just amazzzing! 🙌🏻 My sister had been once before, so she was the tour guide of the trip! I am going to do a whole blog post on the stops we made in Yellowstone, but I will add a few pictures on this post as well! ☺️

Wednesday:

This was our most casual/relaxing day and man was it needed! We slept in and made a yummy brunch to enjoy our morning. Then we headed into town to shop, walk around and get lunch downtown!

After our afternoon of shopping, we went on a little hike! The trail is called Porcupine Trail!

After our hike, we headed home to get ready for dinner! This was for sure our favorite meal of the trip! We ate at Horn & Cantle and WOW was it good!! It is at the Lone Mountain Ranch, which also looked like the cutest place to stay!

Thursday:

This was a busy day, but full of a lot of fun!! We woke up early and headed to white water raft the Gallatin River! The water was SO cold, but the views were so beautiful and we had lots of laughs! We even saw Brad Pitts house on the river!

After rafting, we got some yummy pizza from Blue Moon Cafe and then headed to hike! Pizza might not have been the best idea before our 6 mile hike… HA! We hiked Lava Lake Trail! It was a beautiful hike with a lake at the end! So worth it!

For our last night in Montana we got dressed up for some fun family pictures and spent the evening laughing and playing games!

We had the absolute best week in the mountains! Lots of family time, laughs and some amazing memories made! Get ready for the Yellowstone post, there’s a good story 😉
