Peanut Butter Pie

Hi y’all!

Can you believe next week is Thanksgiving? I am getting so excited to start baking for all the festivities and so ready to be with family!! Today on my blog I wanted to share this pie recipe that needs to be added to your Thanksgiving pie traditions! If you love oreos and peanut butter this ones for you…! My mother in law made this pie for Samuel’s 18th birthday and I fell in love with it and have been making it ever since!

Ingredients:

FOR CRUST

  • 25 whole oreos

  • 4 Tablespoons Butter, Melted

FOR PEANUT BUTTER FILLING

  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

  • 1 package (8 ounce) Softened Cream Cheese

  • 1-1/4 cup Powdered Sugar

  • 1 package (8 ounce) Cool Whip, Thawed

Preparation :

CRUST

  • Crush the Oreos until they’re fine crumbs. Pour melted butter over the top and stir with a fork to combine. Press into pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes, or until set.

  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

FILLING

  • Beat the peanut butter with cream cheese until smooth. Add powered sugar and beat until smooth. Add in the thawed cool whip and beat mixture until smooth, scraping the sides as needed.

  • Pour filling into crust, evening out the top with a knife or spatula. I like to sprinkle Oreos on top for fun, or add more cool whip on top for a fun touch. Chill for at least an hour before serving.

Warning: This is ultra, ultra-rich. Cut small slivers - your guests will thank you! This is for sure to be a crowd favorite!
